Luther Allison with some fabulous singin' and git playing....with an infectious groove for the ole bump-and-grind.
This is kind of fun. A good pick-me-up, get your testosterone flowing, sh!t kicker of a song from Eric Gales. Some good heavy guitar tones too.
...and for something equally boogie inducing. (post yours)

This tune from Johnny A never ceases to make me grin, especially from about 1:50 - 3:00....

That Luther Allison tune is awesome. I used to listen to him back in the late 70s earl 80s. Really liked his stuff...and then my mind was blown when hid did those gigs with Journey.

I have about 7 of Luther's CDs at work. He had that great, growly, emotion-stained voice........and then he went to the git playing at which he was super at. He played so many different guitars......he would play whatever someone handed him if need be. I know on his pix that he's playing Strats; LPs and 335s.....and probably clones at that. lol Fabulous sense of timing and rhythm too. Very underrated slide player also.
It builds and builds...
Always a pick-me-up.
That's some pretty hot pickin', Tig.
