Amalia painted her face herself, in the mirror.... she was at soccer camp, and painted her face a different flag for each day.

    She is so cute!
Um, her mirror is defective, by the way.

That is very cute! I like how she did the cross in the flag on her face! My kids several years ago were in a soccer program where they represented different countries on different days, and had to learn a bit about each country.

Here is just a cell phone pic that I have to share, of my "soccer girl" from a few years ago. I love the soccer "kilt" she is wearing and how she had put her shin guards on the outside of her socks.

Do you have studio flash lighting? Nice clarity and color.

PS. Don't stick her on the roof just because she looks like a flag.

Thanks guys! No studio flash, just 2 softboxes. My camera and lens combo creates very sharp and colourful photos - I'm very happy with what I can accomplish with the camera gear.

Now see, I'd never heard of 'soft boxes' before. Never too old to learn something, eh?

    Robert, fantastic picture.
I have ordered a couple of inexpensive soft boxes from Adorama in NYC in the past. They make portraits look very pro.
