Would you say that those are a high output pickup or not? What is the body wood of the Anthem?
It seems like the neck pickup stay fairly crisp with all the added gain.

I have a mahogany body/sapele top Ibanez RG that I'm wondering if those might be just the right pickup for.

I'd say they are medium output, maybe "wimpy high gain"?
They are very musical, and if you play hard rock style music, these are perfect. Not over the top hot, just sweet and fat sounding when you have some distortion on your amp.
I don't know the material of the guitar.
