Default Scott Henderson - Interview 2013

Here is a brand new interview I did with Scott Henderson. Quite a bit of it is focused on the HBC project, but we touched on a variety topics. It's a good read.

I wish I were in Asia, when Tribal Tech is touring there. They sure won't come to Canada any time soon.

    Hope you like it.

Very cool! How did you manage to hook up with Scott for such a long & comprehensive interview?

    Because we're long time pals!

Well, the truth is I did another interview with him about a year ago, and I've been in touch with him via email for quite some time. I bought a guitar lesson video from him a while back. Since HBC recently came out with an album, I figured it would be a good time to see if he would be interested in another interview. And he was.

Too bad there aren't more people appreciating this unbelievable musician. He's soooo good it's scary. He's my biggest influence among guitar players, together with Jimi and Scofield.

So, for me to interview my hero is very cool indeed! I'm also quite proud of the result. I am no reporter, just a guitar player! But he really liked the interview and so did his bass player Jeff Berlin and a bunch of guys on TGP. So that's cool.
