    Default Soundclips for movie scenes..

I would think, the creative little beasts we all are that everyone has done this at one time or another. Jimi75 is doing a song for the goonies movie which I liked.. How many times have you been watching say a star wars movie and later that day end up playing something that fits the part in your mind. Or a day of Westerns and later you come up with a song you can picture ole Clint Eastwood or John Wayne shooting it out with the bad guys?

Does anyone have anything like this laying around they can share?

Ok well, I didn't post this just to ask that question... I also have a creative beast in me be it good or bad... Below is my example of what I mean by this. Pretty basic down on the border type western thing... It's just nice to get to a beginner plus level to do such things... Messing with mim strat, rat pedal, behringer acoustic pedal and boss rc-20xl looper.. on to the storyline...

    Justa Lone Rider

Riding down on the Mexican border..

0:01 A lone rider dirty and tired looking, trots
on his horse along a ridge on the open lands.

    0:35 Six hard riding banditos?
Kicking dust clouds all around them
pan back and forth lone rider and dust cloud.

0:50 Lone rider stops on the ridge looking down and
    across at the dust cloud.
    Unmounts with his rifle and
    lays on a cliffed edge.

1:10 shots ring out as the six men
start to fall from their horses, shot
    and confused looking in all
    directions.

1:40 Lone rider remounts his horse

1:50 cut back to Horse legs over a face
dripping blood from his mouth into the dirt ground
    rider un-mounts

2:15 lone rider takes gold chain and
    locket from the deadman's neck
    than gathers other items from
    the other dead.

2:50 lone rider re-mounts and rides
    off into the distance...

3:05 He was Justa Lone Rider

Very nice Justa! Your bassy voice would be awesome on this track, you should "read" the lyrics. I suddenly felt like watching old spagetthi westerns.
I can't say that I've given up on a flanger cause I've never liked the effect either. I also can't say the same about Tremolo. I hate them both equally. - Tone2TheBone 2009

Very creative and well done. I too visualized your storyline. That Justa Lone Rider is one bad hombre.

    That was great!
As soon as I have clear pictures in my mind I know the music fits!

Really fantastic idea Justa & great title too.

    The music is wonderfully moody.

You should go back & really kick up some dust & up the pace for the 6 banditos.

It'd be way cool to make a short audio play with dialog, sound effects, & music.

In fact, I've had that idea in the back of my mind for awhile, but first I've gotta learn to play better.

    O & I'll need a mike.
    I pick a moon dog.

    Default Died in the Desert

OK, Justa. I went back and added the words, for some reason it sounds pretty clear if I use I tunes as the default, but sounds like "s#1t" if I use Windows media player. Headphones seem to work better than either. I tried to capture the feeling...or something...of a life wasted, reflected on, and perhaps salvation as a final moment of clarity arrives for a bad, bad man.
    You know, a love story.

    The Story
A bad man reflects on his life and what he left behind as he dies. A killer, he could have been a husband, a thief and a liar, he could have been a daddy.

    The Song

    http://www.box.net/public/r337qkbs8r

"How the hell did I wind up here?'
Where did I take a wrong turn?'
These are things he asks himself,as the sun begins to burn.
The light is so bright that it's blinding
What water he had is all gone
The anger inside him is all that makes him push on...

    Somewhere once..there was a woman..
Who held him and kissed him and loved him and always was kind.
He told her that they would last forever.
But he lied and laughed and left...(he was)so blind.

Money is easy to come by when you're cold and carry a gun.
The downside is sooner or later...you run
First he ran out of conscience, then he ran out of pride.
    Maybe his conscience's not gone
He remembers how many have died

Now he's in a blast furnace, what's that he sees? Who can tell?
A mirage? Is that her smiling and waving? Is this heaven or hell?

All the power he's ever needed, he holds it in his right hand...
But he can't trade bullets for water in this godforsaken land

Cursing and screaming he trips and falls, his reward is a mouthful of sand
Somewhere a woman is laughing, she found the last honest man

If he can just make it till sunset, he may still have a chance.
Tears in his eyes, remembering how they used to dance

Shes's on the porch rocking her baby, almost a year and a half
Nothing closer to heaven, than hearing that angel laugh

Money buys nothin' for him now, he sees the end of the game
He cries like the baby and prays that she's got a good name

There's more to think about now, tho, how many lives did he take?
He's burning to death yet he's freezing, his body's starting to shake.

And as he dies in the desert he's smiling, he had one piece of luck on his side...
Clutched in his hand is her Bible, with "Forever" written inside.
