Default For Bowe and his family.

I ran into a cycling friend of mine today, Bob. He is my local UPS driver and a nice guy. His son, Bowe is still being held hostage in Afghanistan. Since June, 2009. Bob is a brave man, works hard and does what he can. But I can tell he misses his son. Just hoping to help the world remember.

Prayers and mojo sent his way. I can't imagine what a "head-game" this is for his Dad. How can his mind NOT go to any wrong place or scenario about what is going on with his son or what his future holds? Damn, that sucks. Keep us posted.

My thoughts are with your friend and his family. I hope his son and everyone else over there comes home soon and safe.

What an unimaginable nightmare to go through for the family. I hate to think of what Bowe's life has been like after reading Marcus Luttrell's story about escaping the Taliban there. We can only hope and pray for his well being and return home.

Wonderful news! Bowe is now in the hands of US Military forces and has been released from the Taliban! So happy for his family! I hope he returns home as healthy physically and mentally as is possible, given what he endured.

Their prayers were finally answered. Saw that on the news this AM and couldn't remember why the name sounded familiar. Then read this Thread and saw that I commented on it last yr.

Great news for the family and community.

Great to hear, hope he is ok!
