    Default Greetings from California!

    Greetings,

I've been lurking here for a few months now and finally created an account to ask a question. I should probably say 'hi.'

Been playing for just over 2 years after a lifetime of putting it off for school, colllege, family, etc. As I neared 40, I realized I never pursued my lifetime passion. I decided to buy a guitar and quickly succumbed to a minor case of GAS. Now playing with a couple of other guys and covering 70s/80s rock ... I guess it's now "classic" but to me that's 60s rock.

Mostly combing through forums on how to maintain and upgrade my equipment. So pardon the dumb questions that may arise every now and then.

    Cheers!

Your story sounds very similar to a lot of folks on here. Don't worry about dumb questions. The only dumb ones are the ones that aren't asked.
