Default NAD - New Amp Day - woohoo

Well, I finally decided on an amp. I didn't choose the Genz Benz since it's just me and
the dogs aggravating the wife, I couldn't really see needing a beast like the Genz Benz
100 watter. I settled on a cherry mint Fender Hot Rod Deluxe 40w all tube sweetheart
that lends itself to my style of playing much better. When I say cherry mint, I mean CHERRY
MINT! It's only been played a half dozen times in it's 10 year life. It doesn't have a scuff,
or a mark on it. EVERYTHING is original. Even came with the original Fender amp cover. It
    is sa-weet! SA-WEET! I've had a ball playing it since I got it home. I'm sure it's not everyone's
    cup o' tea....but I like it.....so far!

Now I need to figured out which to sell, and which to keep as a backup....the
Ampeg 20w or the Traynor 20w. It's always something....

Man, that's still a heck of a lot of amplifier! Nice find.

Ampeg 20W???? Would that be the Jet reissue with Tremolo?

    Trainor 20W?? do tell.....

Yes, it is the Jet reissue with trem, and the Traynor is the YCV20WR

Both are nice little amps, but I barely need one for a backup, much less two.

the ycv20 seem like very cool little amps....WR...is that for the red ones? Actually the Jet's are cool as well, but they are fairly well known, the Traynors really go under most folks radar. I have a buddy from Toronto who seeks old Traynors out, swears by them.

The Hot Rod Deluxe may not be everyone's cup o' tea, but apparently it's the "beverage of choice" for many! From what I've read, it's been Fender's best selling tube amp for many years now. Enjoy!!

Sweet amp, PS! Nice quality, too. Heck, the speaker is so new, it might need some more break in time after 10 years!

Yes, I believe the WR designates "wine red". Too bad your buddy is in Toronto, this one is going cheap.

Thanks for all the kind words fellows, the HRD will fill all my meager requirements for sometime to come.
