Default My $60 Yard Sale ESP/LTD

I actually snagged this last summer. It was a Craigslist ad, and when I called the seller, he told me the guitar was out in his yard sale. I swung by after work, and talked him down from $70 to $60. It was dirty and needed a setup and strings, and the switch tip was missing. I took it home and got it back in shape:

I only had a white switch tip on hand at the time. I did go on to put a black tip on, as well as some other mods:

The inlays are stickers, but you can't feel them when you play. The pickups are Eastwood HOT10, with some plain black covers on them. This has become one of my favorite players. Great neck, great action, and it sounds fantastic. Not bad for $60!

    Guitars: Lots.
    Amphs: More than last year.
Pedals: Many, although I go straight from guitar to amp more often lately.

    Congrats, that's a bosstastic deal!

You're right about that belly cut. If someone's belly actually approximated that guitar, s/he should probably seek medical attention.

$60 was a great steal! I've always been a sucker for red and black. Maybe my dad used to be Darth-something.

    HNGD!

Perhaps this was made for mermaids?

I'm not big on black guitars, although I do have two of them. Maybe it's the "fingerprint magnet" factor.
I still need a purple guitar. Oh, and an orange one...
