Default Pawn Shop Find Marshall 1965B 4X10 Cab

I was blessed with an excellent find at the Local Pawn.

I picked up a Marshall 1965B Cab loaded with 4 G10L-35 speakers. Shaking it down now, but from my initial observations, this thing kicks monkey butt. I'll be hunting for the A unit, for sure.

Is this the straight or angled cab? Either way, they are awesome. I've always secretly kept an eye out for one, but most that have them wont part with them because they know how awesome they are. Color me envious.

I'm looking for a good Marshall cab. Let us know how you like that one!

Spudman. I have the streight one.
Robert. Great cab. I'm on the hunt for the A cab. The only problem is that the Marshall heads, hang over the cabs. In othe words, the head is wider than the cab. I have been seeing players using other than Marshall, to power these cabs.

I had one of these for years, a very handy cab. Used to have a rack system atop it, just perfect size. Later turned it into an active cab actually.

It's a perfect extra cab for a 2x12" open backed amp as well, as it has plenty of what those lack - bite and definition and directivity- so they complement each other very well.

I have the B unit (streight cab). the A cab with the same speakers, would be nice. I'm thinking of powering it with a Rockerverb 50.]
