Has a Jeff Beck sound.... or maybe that was the groove you were in? Quite a difference between the pick-up positions. Nice playing as always, and just the right look to the camera at the end! Thanks, Robert - suited the end of the Friday for me very well. I look forward to hearing the answer to the mystery...

Is the headstock stained, or is that a dark wood neck (mahogany, pau ferro, walnut)?

Is it an optical illusion or is that a short scale neck?

The pickups are Porter Pickups - http://www.porterpickups.com/product...kups/1950s.php

The neck is a Warmoth neck - indian rosewood with a king wood fingerboard, 6105 stainless steel frets, 10-16 compound radius, boat neck shape (56 strat shape) and a Corian nut. No short scale.

Fender bridge with upgraded steel block (Callaham I think).

Mojotone Strat wiring kid, Blender mod.

The body is Squier from the 1990s, so only the body and the pickguard is left from the Squier... I think I'll try a different body too, just for the heck of it. Might as well bastardize 100%!

Thanks for all the nice comments!
