Drums on your guitar

I currently play a lot of Percussion on my guitar with fingerstyle techniques, but am still searching for the best way to integrate drumming onto my instrument. any ideas or anything that anyone has already done?

What about a stomp box? It wouldn't necessarily be on your instrument, but you can get a kick drum sound with just the tap of your foot.
