I was going for a bluesy tone with the Samamp and blues-rock tone with the Marshall. I'm doing these demos because I'm about to change the pickups and the saddles and springs (raw vintage). Then I'll record again with the same gear to see if what differences there may be.

I decided to only use a TS-9 since it's a "standard tube screamer". I do have a bunch of unique and to me better sounding overdrives, but the TS-9 should be a good source of gain for this comparative purpose.
