    Growing up, he was just that strange guy that John Belushi imitated on SNL. Later I discovered what a soulful, incredibly talented singer he was.

    The passing of another great one. RIP brother.

    The saddest thing for me, is coming to grips with the fact, that probably in the next ten years many of the greats we've known will be passing on. From the rest of the Beatles, the Stones, BB King and so on. They've all given us so much.
