    Default Tubescreamers: True Bypass?

Do any of you Ibanez Tubescreamer owners (any version) know if they are true bypass? The reason why I ask is because I know that my TO800 is not. Even when disengaged, it definitely alters my tone. I'm not saying it's necessarily _bad_, it's just _different_. The concept of tone sucking in the Dunlop wah thread made me think of this.

FWIW, I don't believe it is true bypass, but my EZ-7 doesn't alter anything when it's off. My uneducated guess is that it's due to the fact that it is digital instead of analog.

Nope, not unless you buy a boutique aftermarket-modified version. The good news is that the Tube Screamers are not known for being big tone-suckers.
