Default Cos Knopfler's on sale again

    202
For the past couple of day's I am being listening to Mark's new Album Tracker. If you expecting Dire Straits then this record isn't for you, but if you like his previous efforts then it's worth a couple of plays.

Funny thing that his single sounds like Sultans of Swing216

    Tracker
has a wide variety of styles, maybe more than Privateering has. After about eight listens, I really enjoy 8 of the 11 songs so far. The opening track, "Laughs and Jokes and Drinks and Smokes", is an Irish jig in typical 6/8 time that I love. "Mighty Man" is a sweet story and one of the true gems of the album. "Beryl" will be a favorite for those who long for the Dire Straits sound. As always, Mark's playing is a joy to listen to.
