Actually, why not as long as the ohms match or the speaker's ohms value is higher than the amp's output.
So thinking about changing the stock speaker in my AC15C1 with an Eminence Wizard that i swapped out from a blues Jr III. I had put a cannabis rex in that amph. I'm only thinking this since I have it lying around. Anyone care to chime in on if its a good idea? or not???

Try it and see what you think. My only concern is that the Wizard is a pretty bright sounding speaker and the AC15 is pretty bright as well, so it might end up on the ice-picky side.
