That's kinda cool. I don't think I've ever seen one like that before. The fact that you've had it so long makes it extra cool.
This was my first electric guitar. My parents bought it for me for my 14th birthday (1979) Mahogany body, bolt-on Mahogany neck with Ebony board and bone nut, Torriodal wound active pups, one volume/one tone, 3-way switch, and phase switch. She can handle anything---blues, jazz, classic rock, metal---with ease!
