    Default Swapping pickups

I hope someone can help. I own a 2016 LP Classic, and run it through a Palmer Fat 50 amp. In our band we play mostly ska/punk and funk; we also do some classic-sounding rock. The LP comes fitted with standard humbuckers, but I'm debating swapping the bridge pickup for either an Alnico or a Burstbucker. Any thoughts or recommendations?
