    Default Darkglass Alpha Omega

I've heard the bass distortion tone I've always had in my head on the alpha setting of this pedal. The drawback? The price US $349. Hope I win his, otherwise I'm going to need to save up AND explain to my wife why I need a distortion pedal that cost more than my bass (well, at least the price I paid for it, not the original sale price).

$349 for a fuzz pedal?? YIKES!!

It doesn't have all the bells & whistles of that pedal, but have you looked at the BYOC Full Circle Bass Fuzz? You can check out the tone in the YouTube video below. The good news is that the kit, even with the fancy copper hammertone finish, would only set you back about $88....

Well, it's quite a bit more than a fuzz, but you're right. The cost is crazy. Not totally surprising in the boutique market. Man, though, it has THAT sound. I've been listening to a LOT of bass distortion pedals and this is the first one to make me lose it.
