    the key to MIM teles and strats is to play a bunch and when you find one you like buy that one....don't let them go get you one new in the box....each one is very different...

    This makes sense to me and it gibes with both my experience with my Tex-Mex and with what I've seen reported from people whose opinions I trust on the net.
