    Default Michael Brecker - R.I.P.

Michael Brecker is gone. He was only 57. Oh man.

    See Google news: http://news.google.com/news?q=michael%20brecker

If you don't know who he was, do some reading online. I think he was one of the best sax players in recent history. I've seen him live too. Amazing player.

Very sad news, Robert. I have heard him play and it's a shame he had to part so soon. A great loss.

    Oh, wow--that's sad.

I didn't know Brecker. I only heard about him a year ago from M-Audio's offer to pay for bone marrow testing for anyone willing to undergo the test. A match might have saved his life. I never did it...

It looks like the offer still stands. Wouldn't save Brecker's life, but I bet there are others who might benefit.
