    What a good version!!!
I can't say that I've given up on a flanger cause I've never liked the effect either. I also can't say the same about Tremolo. I hate them both equally. - Tone2TheBone 2009

I thought Teen Spirit was the better of the two. I almost blew chunks at Pat Boone. At least Spirit had some punch to it. There was a chord in Smoke on the chorus that was just wrong and made me wince. Please don't torture us anymore with crap like this.

I think this is an awesome thread! Let's see what other "covers" we can dig up - the crazier the better. You can get away with anything if it's open to "artistic interpretation"

See my Floyd - something entirely different thread for some other interesting covers. May be heresy to some Floyd, Waters and Gilmour fans though.

Re; this clip, it would only be worse if Debbie Gibson joined in for harmonizing vocals.

No talent Pat Boone has been ruining others creations for decades. Who buys that stuff? Ever had the pleasure of witnessing him cover Ray Charles? I'm shuddering as my puke valve twitches.
Well T, you asked for it, so here are a few interesting moments in musical history. Thankfully not as indescribably bad as Pat Boone and even a humorous one.

I know it was a fake, but I still enjoyed the Lawrence Welk Orchestra doing the Velvet Underground's Sister Ray the most! LOL!!

It was the real ones that were truly disturbing!
