Default Classic riffs for remembering the major and minor pentatonic scales

Well, classic for those of us of a certain age...

This may be one of those things that is already common knowledge but FWIW, I heard these two riffs when practicing the major and minor pentatonic. Both consist of a straight run of the scale tones from tonic to octave (so, 6 notes).

For the minor, it is the bass riff that opens the second section of the CSNY song 'Carry On'.
For the major, it's the opening guitar riff to 'My Girl' by the Temptations...

Cool video TJ To be playing "My Girl" I guess you can even make a slide which brings you from one position to the next one helping you to locate the next Major pentatonic position

Great idea, Jipes. Yes, I also thought about repeating the lick from the ending note through the next octave in the same position, too.

Robert, thanks for the nudge to figure out how to do this and put something up for the first time!
