    Default EVH pickups or screamers?

Hi, I’m planning on getting my first Floyd rose guitar (jackson dinky) and I know they’re probably gonna be crappy stock pickups, and want to change them out. I like Van Halen’s stuff a lot, but I play other stuff too. (obviously) I would like EVH humbuckers but I’m not too sure if playing an AC/DC or ozzy osbourne song on EVH humbuckers would sound good. I have considered just getting screamers. Which ones should I get? Thanks! (Ps if you know any screamers under 150 dollars that are good please tell me them. Thanks!)

Welcome to the Jackson club! I guess it depends on which Jackson Dinky you get (there's a wide range). Mine came stock with Seymour Duncan JB and Jazz. I don't really know anything about Screamers or EVH pickups. I'd suggest just trying the stock pickups. You'd be far better off working on chops than spending money on pickups.

I believe the original Frankenstrat just had a Gibson PAF in it. I would imagine that pretty much any humbucker (maybe beside the SUPER overwound ones) would be able to give you that 80s metal Ozzy, ACDC, Van Halen tone.
