Chords
hello, I've been struggling with something for several months. When I play the guitar standing up and I have to take a barre chord my wrist hurts. Recently I saw a video where a band play chords in a different way (with their thumb above the neck). At first you can clearly see the barré chords on the acoustic guitar, but when they play electric they seem different. Hopefully you can help me. regards

Try this first when making a barre chord when standing....make sure the neck is higher than the body of the guitar, by at least 20 degrees. That should make things a lot easier on your fretting wrist.
