Default Crap, crap, crap (Jackson RR5 content)

Stopped by a local mom and pop shop today. They have a Jackson RR5 (Randy Rhoads V in ivory with black pinstripes) with a hard shell case for $899 (originally new ~$1500). I'd love to grab it but I'd probably have to sell my beloved DK2M (see my profile pic). That's been a dream guitar for me. It is a hard tail so then I would have no whammy goodness anymore.
Axen: Jackson DK2M, Fender Deluxe Nashville Telecaster, Reverend Warhawk 390, Taylor 914ce, ESP LTD Surveyor-414
Amphen: Jet City JCA22H and JCA12S cab, Carvin X-60 combo, Acoustic B20
Effecten: "Thesis 96" Overdrive/Boost (aka DVM OD2), Hardwire DL-8 Digital Delay/Looper, DigiTech Polara Reverb, DigiTech EX-7 Expression Factory and CF-7 Chorus Factory, Danelectro CF-1 Cool Cat Fuzz

Tough one. I have a GAS remedy that seems to work for me. I have a 'one in one out' policy, and when I cannot answer which one of the family I would boot out, a new one cannot be adopted. At least that's what I tell myself. Doesn't work as well when there's a great deal on the table, but ... Good luck.

Easy solution - 2 Jacksons are better than 1. And they're different enough to not raise any eyebrows. Guitars are just tools. Beautiful, fun to own tools.

I happen to own 28 'tools', so maybe don't take my advice

I mean, no offense, but I don't really see why, like guitar players from Creed, or something like that, are on the cover of guitar magazines. Almost anybody can sit down and learn to play those songs.

Heh. Well, that's kind of where I'm standing. I decided that my DK2M is staying. Can't give up on it. So now I have a decision to make. I suppose it is a cheaper midlife crisis than a Ferrari.

If you are interested, this is the one.
