I recently made the overdue decision to upgrade my old acoustic recording gear. Just an entry level Focusrite Scarlett, but what a difference the modern pre-mics make. Single mic with some fiddling yielded these results, which while not great are a big improvement for my home recording.

Thanks for listening! Yeah, I think the Martin does sound good especially with modern mics and mic preamps. Not a high-end Martin, but sounds rich regardless. Even the old 12-string in the background rings nicely. Very happy with this new recording gear, although it's hardly high end. I hope to work on some more stuff soon, with the better sound being a good incentive.
