    Default The gig rig

I haven't used this amp much at all in the past year. The Germino was the amp of choice for the last band. With the new band and the more modern, edgier material, The Johnson wins hands down. This is an amazing amp.

The rack holds a Shure SLX wireless, a BBE 362, a Furman power conditioner, and a Korg tuner. The amp is run in stereo to the cab, which is loaded with Celestion V30's. I run the entire rig through the foot controller.

It's a fun amp to play through, and the sounds are limited only by your imagination and patience to dial them in.

Such a great big amph...and such a teenie little Strat in the upper left. Does the amph make the guitar sound bigger?

That little Strat grows exponentially when you crank the gain.
