After reading the article on Planet Waves locking tuners in the Feb edition of Premier Guitar Magazine, I bought a set for my MIM Strat. I already have Lockers that came standard on my 50th Deluxe but these Planet Waves are so much better (IMHO). Not only do they fit perfectly but. they also automatically cut the excess string length when you start to tune the guitar! They impressed me so much I bought another set this week for my Telecaster and put them on as well. Once on, you can re-string and tune your axe in about 7-10 minutes!
I got the chrome sets but they also come in all black or gold finish as well.
