    Default VG Strat pricing :-(

    Oh folks, I was so wrong believing that Fender puts out the VG Strat for around 800 Euros! I know for sure that they always went the Mexican route ,too just to make good guitars also available to the average "rich" guy.

    Here in goos ole Germany the street price will be approx. 1.900€, which is almost 2560 USD.

    Sorry, but this does not even make it interesting for me. If I had this money at free disposal, I would definitely buy a "real" guitar.

    I highly doubt that Fender and Gibson are able to compete with Line 6. The market for digital guitars is small and nobody is going to pay such a high price.

    Thats the street price here too, I dont think that they will sell many of those guitars here. Line6 has a big user base here, and the variax sells as warrens hot pancakes!
    I can't say that I've given up on a flanger cause I've never liked the effect either. I also can't say the same about Tremolo. I hate them both equally. - Tone2TheBone 2009
