Put another way: can those of you with '51s turn the volume on your bridge pickups down all the way?
I've noticed that when I have my 51's bridge pickup on, the volume doesn't go all the way down; i.e. when the knob reaches what should be 0, there's still a signal coming through the amp. When I'm just using the neck pickup the knob works normally. Is the humbucker just too hot for the pot to handle? If so, is this normal, or should I replace the pot? And what kind of pot should I replace it with?

Yes, I can turn the volume all the way down.
The Law of Gravity is nonsense. No such law exists. If I think I float, and you think I float, then it happens.

Ok, I guess I'll replace the pot and see if I can get this thing to behave. Thanks.
