    I got it from a friend!

    It came from a blonde '51.

    If you go to the Guitar Fetish website, they have new black '51 pickguards for $17.95. And because I am a huge fan of Robert's '51, I am probably going to buy another one in black, get a black pickguard from Guitar Fetish, and have a similar looking model. I love the look of your '51, too, Robert!

    My '51 has a black pickguard, but it's the satin-finished stock thingie. Yours is shiny and nice...Makes the guitar look much more sophisticated. I've seen the ones from GFS, but he changed the shape too much...And the pickguard shape is one of the things I dig!
