    Cool 1st recording

Hi all. New member here...really enjoying reading all the posts & listening to clips. This is my first ever recording. It's just a 30 second clip and I'm not sure why I chose this tune...probably still stuck in my head from the 80's! Used a Squier Strat played thru a Digitech RP-150 and recorded to computer with Audacity. Pretty amateurish, I know, but just wanted to post something. Anyway, thanks for listening

I, too, thought the clip sounded good. Audacity is hard to beat for a freebie. It does quite a good job. I like Digitech effects. I own a few. They sound kick ***. Nice work on your first recorded piece.

It brought a smile to my face, that's for sure. Red headbands and red leather pants for everybody!

By the by, did you hear that they have a new album coming out? Tis true! No word on the headbands though.

ted s: Yes, the RP-150 was doing the effects. Used it for the drum loop, then did a track with rhythm & lead on top of that.

    Sounds nice!
I can't say that I've given up on a flanger cause I've never liked the effect either. I also can't say the same about Tremolo. I hate them both equally. - Tone2TheBone 2009
