Technique my friend. Or change your brand of strings. Some do it more than others. What gauge do you use? Brand?

A compressor is different than a noise gate. The noise gate works well to get rid of unwanted noise if you are using high gain. The compressor will keep whatever noise you have at what ever level you set the compressor output. Otherwise, it's going to be a technique thing.

Experiment. See if you can get your finger noise level down a little on your own just by being aware of how much you drag your fingers on the strings when changing positions.
