Although his playing is indeed amazing, I find it a bit "shredder-ish" and I think that it's far away from the original thrilling-makingyoutoquitplaying-extraterrestrial playing:

Listen to the latetest GPS album " Window To The Soul". No shredding just tasefull rock and roll guitar playing. This record has the vocalist from Asia (John Payne), Gutherie (also from Asia), Jay Schellen (Asia, Hurricane, Badfinger), and Ryo Okumoto (Spock’s Beard).

I think you'll find Gutherie is quite versitile and tasteful. Yes he can shred, but he also does just about everything else with class too.

"No Tele For you." - The Tele Nazi

    Ha! Tele-ish now inbound.
