Don't know yet. But read some good reviews on it and the NR box, especially with Strats.

That's cool WackyT! I have some Behringer effects too. They sometimes get slagged for being cheap, knockoffs etc. but they're an affordable place to start and you know what, they don't sound too bad. I've been gigging with mine, and they've held up so far - at least the places I'm gigging right now. You might want to get something a little more sturdy if you start playing biker bars

You know the rules around here though - if you get new gear, you have to post clips

Thanks, Trev. I'm still a beginner, but I'll post a clip of what I can do when I get the pedals, if you guys want.

I just received the Behringer pedal tuner (TU100 or something like that?) and it is really nice! Great display and easy to tune with because of that display, works great, and the price was right! I also have a clean boost coming. (thanks Spud for the assist!) I have mostly Boss pedals but didn't want to pop for the Boss tuner. This one seems like it will be awesome. The only thing that worries me a little is that the plastic molded part of the stomp button that holds the stomp button on might break someday. But by that time, if it comes, I am sure I will have received my $19 or so worth I paid for it. Good score WackyT! I think the Behringer pedals are a great place to start.

My Behringer TO800 (Vintage Tube Overdrive) is awesome. There was a review online comparing its tone very favorably to the revered TS-808.

I've got one of those too. It does indeed have a really excellent "tubescreamer-ish" sound, especially for the money (totally blows away the Arion Tubulator, which is in the same price range). I've also got a Behringer A/B switch pedal that works great, never had any problems with it, definitely a good bargain.

Deja'Vibe from Mike Fuller (originally a Univibe), a FullDrive, a Strat, a Marshall and some other thing that Robin uses that no one ever gets to see. Plus his hands.

While I wouldn't claim that the Danelectro Chicken Salad pedal "nails" the Univibe sound, it gets awfully close (a heckuva lot closer than my playing gets to Robin Trower's!! ). And for $25, how can you go wrong?

Hey DVM, I was listening to SRV's Texas Flood(the song) last night on the way home...and I kinda hear some of the same tone as Robin Trower...I was looking for a studio recording of Texas Flood that I could post, hoping maybe you could confirm or deny what I heard.

There are multiple recorded versions of that tune, including several live ones. Do you know which one you were listening to?

SRV used a Leslie rotating speaker cab quite often, which gives a rather similar modulation sound.

No I dont know exactly which version...I was listening to it on SiriusBlues...but the rotary pretty much confirms what I was thinking.

But I think youve sold me on the Chicken Salad, I really like that tone coupled with a Strat...thanks again!
