    Default Wayne Krantz

He is a monster player. Very advanced and very tasty player. Check out this clip with Randy Brecker Group - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ouQjBG13g0s

Here is his own trio - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zgswhBHPeI8
I heard Wayne released a guitar theory book recently. Apparently he "thinks" about playing in terms of a pool of 12 notes that picks from (if I understand correctly).

He's got great tone too. Tone2thebone, guess what amp he uses!?

Does he use the manly Jubilee? In that 2nd video he looks like he's using your ultra expensive Strat copy though. Great playing. The 1st video I liked.

Yep, the Jubilee 2553. The expensive Strat copy? Hehehe, that is very funny!

Actually, he uses Tyler Strats (but with Suhr pickups). Great tone regardless.

The chord voicings he uses are pretty amazing. He sounds so different. His sense of time is incredible too. Not your typical blues phrasing ideas. I would define this man as a musical genius.

The 2553 is the smaller 50 watt head cool. Does he use the Silver series or the ones after the Silver production in black tolex?

Oh Tyler Strats ok. Are they an expensive Strat copy too? LOL just kidding!

Tone, I have no idea. He's got a great strat tone. This man is a monster musician!

Mike Landau uses Tyler strats too - must be good strat copies.

Monster musician? Not one of the Lordi dudes I hope...

I can't say that I've given up on a flanger cause I've never liked the effect either. I also can't say the same about Tremolo. I hate them both equally. - Tone2TheBone 2009

SuperSwede - you must dig Wayne? He's one of a kind. He just plays like a monster, he doesn't look like one, thank goodness!
