    Default The Wilsons unplugged

Well almost unplugged. Ann and Nancy in full hero worship. I am gassing for one of those mandolins now....seriously. Played one for fun the other day too.

Sounds good... I think that Samick has/had a similar looking Mandolin that is not so expensive. They make pretty good acoustic instruments.
I can't say that I've given up on a flanger cause I've never liked the effect either. I also can't say the same about Tremolo. I hate them both equally. - Tone2TheBone 2009

Ahhhhh Nancy Wilson. Not only does she rip on the guitar but her stage presence is phenomenal. She jumps kicks spins bangs her head and shakes that...neck. She is not afraid of her instrument. She can sing too! Incredible for being really shy in person.

Although I like some of their songs I don't call myself a fan. I did go to one of their concerts back in the 80's. I don't remember anything about their performance, one thing I do remember is that the opening band was so loud my friends and I had to retreat to the lobby or else we would have suffered permanent ear damage.

    Wow, They still rock!

Hopefully Anns lapband procedure has done her well. She looked like she was up to 400 pounds one of the last times I saw a recent concert clip of her.

Yeah she seems to have always had a problem with weight, even back in the old days, but she's always been dang pretty and she can sing her *** off.
