    Default Lounge Jazz, (be gentle)

Ok ok.. i'll lower my defense shield, and present a song I just finished of a genere that most people will find 'awkward' at best.

There is not a lot of 6 string guitar, but I did do a lot of 4 string Bass work.. and some horns and piano fun too..

Of course I will take a hit on the vocals.. but whats a guy to do.. it was what I heard in my head..

this song writing stuff can take many paths..

I hope SOMEONE will enjoy the effort..

Thanks for the ear in advance.. and thanks with your patience for an interpetation of a style that most people could care less about.

Without futher adieu, I present 'After Hours'

Little bit of Harry Connick Jr. sound there in the voice...

only thing to change if anything.. Horn a little lower/slightly in the mix.. guess that hard to do though huh? but it had good sound.. it all did... cheers..

Thanks.. I was feeling a bit insecure about the song.. I feel a bit better the last few minutes..

I was going to re-mix it as soon as I had it in me, so I will take note of the horn volume..

    Appreciate the feedback a million!

    I'd say Chet Baker.

    Really nice.

Someday you should try a real slowed down & smokey My Funny Valentine or The Thrill is Gone.

I'd perform either song, but when it comes to recording, my intests lay only in composing my own stuff.

As always, thanks for the kind words..

I am now working on a Mandolin/accordion drunken sailor song..

    Right up my alley!

    Talk with ya later!

Hell yes, that was really cool! I´ll take one of those Martinis too
I can't say that I've given up on a flanger cause I've never liked the effect either. I also can't say the same about Tremolo. I hate them both equally. - Tone2TheBone 2009
