I saw those posted on Musican's Friend recently and was also surprised by the price. There's also a 20 watt 4 x 10 combo and 20 watt head they are making.
Looks like an awesome amp, but I agree the price is a bit outrageous.
Saw this reviewed in this months Guitarist magazine - got a 5 star rating. Looks and sounds kinda gorgeous - check out the sound samples on Laneys website.. Serious GAS but €900 for a 5w combo?

Oohh, that is pricey. I'd love to try one though! Sounds good.
The Law of Gravity is nonsense. No such law exists. If I think I float, and you think I float, then it happens.
Master Guitar Academy - I also teach via SKYPE.
Guys, are we talking about the same amp?

I don't think 700 euros are that much. There is no "euro per watt" issue here. A 5 watt amp doesn't cost so much less than a 20 watt one, esp. if you use top notch parts.
These are true "vintage style" class-A amps. They are not for everyone I suppose but they have their own character. For better or worse, we have to pay a bit more for exclusive items.
I find the 20watt version more interesting though. A friend of mine is getting a 20 watt head soon, I'll ask him for comments.
In the meantime, Lev, could you please scan the magazine review, or provide a link to the text, if possible?

This store has good prices on several amps as well as some effects processors, etc. Don't know how they do it! (no affiliation of course).
Waiting on the scans, thank you!

I've bought a L5T for just 549 from this shop http://luckymusic.com/eng/products/ ,but now they don't list it anymore on their site. It should be here in the beginning of next week
