    Default Eric Gales

Wow! I just discovered this talented young man.

This is clip from the old Arsineo Hall show in 1993 that has Eric with the full band then some interview time followed with an acoustic number with his brother. These cats are bad ***! Now I'm hooked. He is 19 years old at this time. Yikes!!

He is a great player! He played with Buddy Miles and Billy Cox in 2004, haven't heard what that produced but I read about it. That would be a scary gig!

Hmm Nice! Il lwatch it.. I only read about him in a couple places. Until 2 days ago, when I stumbled upon a website of another guitar player called Lance Lopez and found some videos of both playing together. There are many videos of him playing Jimi's songs, and he puts it out in a very personal way.

Eric Gales is a great find. Great overdriven tones and spectacular playing. Fans of guys like Hendrix, SRV, or Sonny Sharrock should def check him out.

Ya. Crazy isn't it? My head aches just trying to think about playing that way. He sure plays with passion and great soulful grooves.

The boy do groove eh? I like his funky groove and heavy sound a lot too. I wish I had that much soul.
