    No it fits pre-existing P 90 routs. It is a P 90 pickup with soapbar shape and dimension of a standard P 90. It's just got stacked magnets to cut hum just like a humbucker. It's 4 conductor wiring so that you can wire the pickup in series (humbucking) or parallel (single coil). I'm pretty sure they don't make mounting rings for P 90s to retro-fit into humbucker routs but you never know. Do they anyone?

    You have to get a humbucker sized P90 if you want to mount it in a HB routed guitar. The Gibson P94 seems nice:
