    jim,

    very good points. I think i am going to give lessons a go. I have a friend (ron) who owns a music store and am going to get his input on instructors. He has several instructors inhouse but he's the kind of guy who would tell me straight out if his guys are for me or not....and if not recommend someone else! He has been in the biz his entire life....working for his dad in his music store first and then starting his own shop.

    His shop seemed really nice!
    I can't say that I've given up on a flanger cause I've never liked the effect either. I also can't say the same about Tremolo. I hate them both equally. - Tone2TheBone 2009
