    Default Help Me Choose Pickups

for modifiying my Squier Vintage Modified SH Tele (just can't leave well enough alone)...

Looking at THIS for the neck p'up.

What do you think of THIS for the bridge? Would it be a good match tone/volume wise?

I also want to do a Fender Hot Rod Tele mod with 5-way switching, so I guess I'll have to find out if I can tap the neck 'bucker.

Thoughts from the pros? Comments from the peanut gallery?

    Thanks,

    Trev

I've never tried either pup, but when I was doing my pup research, I heard wonderful things about the fatbody pickup. About the other one . . . not so much. The nice thing with GuitarFetish, you can afford to experiment.

How about THIS ONE to match up with the Fatbody bridge p'up? Looks to me like they were made for each other!

The GFS pups are interesting pups. I bought a hot nashville retrotron bridge pup for my lp copy. It sounded good and has plenty of clarity. Later I put EMGs on the lp copy so I put the nashvile on the ltd viper and later sold the guitar. The guy called me wanting to know what that pup was. He said it sounded good on his vox amp.
