Thanks Kris. The Offspring are Pretty Fly!

This one I'm throwing up is very recognizable when you hear the infectious intro, but the lyrics are definately a bit 'out there'

    I got my head checked
    By a jumbo jet
It wasn't easy but nothing is
    No

    When I feel heavy metal
And I'm pins and I'm needles
Well I lie and I'm easy
All of the time I am never sure
    Why I need you
    Pleased to meet you

    I got my head done
    When I was young
    It's not my problem
    Just not my problem

    When I feel heavy metal
And I'm pins and I'm needles
Well, I lie and I'm easy
All the time and I'm never sure
    Why I need you
    Pleased to meet you

Yeah, yeah Yeah, yeah Yeah, yeah Oh, yeah

I know it, but I will spare everyone my answer as it will likely result in my posting another one nobody will get. good choice though algoinquin, my wife loves the band who does the song you posted.

Here's about as esoteric as I get. It contains one of my favorite descriptions in the history of ever:

    Loneliness and frustration
We both came down with an acute case
And when the lights came up at two
I caught a glimpse of you
And your face looked like something
Death brought with him in his suitcase

bump..... ok so its been a little bit here try this one.....

    We all have a weakness
But some of ours are easy to identify. Look me in the eye,
    and ask for forgiveness.
We'll make a pact to never speak that word again.
    Yes, you are my friend.
We all have something that digs at us,
at least we dig each other.

So when weakness turns my ego up
I know you'll count on the me from yesterday.

    If I turn into another
dig me up from under what is covering
    the better part of me.
    Sing this song
remind me that we'll always have each other
    when everything else is gone.

    We all have a sickness
    that cleverly attaches and multiplies
    No matter how we try.
We all have someone that digs at us,
at least we dig each other.

So when sickness turns my ego up
I know you'll act as a clever medicine.
    If I turn into another,
dig me up from under what is covering
    The better part of me.
    Sing this song!
Remind me that we'll always have each other
    when everything else is gone.
Oh, each other when everything else is gone.
