    Default im stumped with my guitar

    when i bought my squire the guy said it was a 86 well he thought so any way where can you put up the number of your guitar to find out what year make etc thanks

    If it follows the same serial number format as the Squier '51s, the first two digits are the year of production. The next two digits are the month. In my case, the first four digits of my serial number are 0507, meaning that it was made in July 2005.

    Mine starts technically with "IC" which stands for Indonesia Cort (made by the Cort factory in Indonesia). Look at the first four _digits_.
