Thumbs up Crash Pad es muerto, viva Crash Pad!

    Played a show last night.

Probably our last. Other guitarist wants to quit or go in a "different direction" and I'm bone-tired of finding new members to teach existing/new songs, only to have them quit before they've learned them sufficiently for recording. And of loaning gear, and of giving rides. All the usual stuff. Eventually I'll make some kind of recording of our more recent songs on my own, but that'll take awhile.

Here's some pics. It was hot in there.

As always your comments on my poseritude are encouraged. No really decent "action shots" (on my camera anyhow) although there was plenty of same. Some people with cell phones got some good shots that I don't have access to yet, if they get uploaded by those other people and I can get links, I'll post 'em later.

Sorry to hear about the band, Brian. Other guitarist and bass player look like young dudes, maybe they're not as commited?
    Good pics.
I well remember the hassles and "usual stuff". When my first thought was "why is it so much work to play music?" instead of "Man, that was fun, and we sounded pretty decent tonite!", I knew it was time for a break.
    Sometimes a break's not a bad thing.

Brian, it's always the same with bands...you will always have foul eggs among them musicians and the more dedicated you are the higher the frustration will be.

Take a break and write some nice songs, and then go find some fresh blood. Take your time to test new members carefully and maybe the next time you should chose someone with more experience, these kids look pretty young though!

Ahh, that is too bad. Hope you get something new going soon.

Yah, that is too bad. That band looks like a lot of fun. I am sure the pieces will fall together eventually though.
