    Default Yellow Ledbetter lyrics

This is just so funny. Funniest video I've seen in a long time. I looked up this song after hearing stingz's recording. I'm not sure I've ever heard this song before, so I went "youtubing" and found this. I just love the (misheard?) lyrics on the video!

The Law of Gravity is nonsense. No such law exists. If I think I float, and you think I float, then it happens.

    That's pretty funny!

Hey, I have heard that Eddie Vedder was improvising the lyrics always, until he kind of had something together.
"A lot of people in the industry want to blame downloading for the state of the business. But I think if most music wasn't shit to begin with people wouldn't be downloading it for free," - Corey Taylor (Slipknot)

Ok, I'm expecting to get all kinds of crap from those of you that like Pearl Jam but, this is my opinion of Pearl Jam.

Eddie Vedder is a horrible song writer, his songs make absolutely no sense at all. Their music is cool but not his lyrics. Thats the reason Ive never liked Pearl Jam.

    BTW, that video was awesome!

Heres one example of his crappy song writing

    Daughter:

Alone...listless...breakfast table in an otherwise empty room
Young girl...violins...center of her own attention
The, mother reads aloud, child, tries to understand it
    Tries to make her proud

The shades go down, it's in her head
Painted room...can't deny there's something wrong...

Don't call me daughter, not fit to
The picture kept will remind me
Don't call me daughter, not fit to
The picture kept will remind me
    Don't call me...

She holds the hand that holds her down
    She will...rise above...ooh...oh...

Don't call me daughter, not fit to
The picture kept will remind me
Don't call me daughter, not fit to
The picture kept will remind me
Don't call me daughter, not fit to be
The picture kept will remind me
Don't call me daughter, not fit to
The picture kept will remind me
Don't call me daughter, not fit to be
The picture kept will remind me
    Don't call me...

    The shades go down
    The shades go down
    The shades go, go, go...

Not that I am a huge PJ fan, or that I even care that much (But I'll take the opposite side anyway, just cause I'm a lawyer ), but I kind of get that "Daughter" song. Besides, listening to it, it is all in how he howls the delivery of it.
