Funny I'm not being notified of this thread even though I'm subscribed to it.

Hopefully it'll be only a week or so. I'm dumping my roadrunner which ends on the 23 and I'm calling the techs tomorrow to come monday. Then when I get my monthly check I'll get dsl. My bill should go from $120 to $65-70 a month. That's for phone and internet but with roadrunner I had cable tv if I ever get around to turning the tv on. Why pay for it? Screw tv. Nothing but friggin commercials.

UPDATE: ok i talked to roadrunner and I got access til nov 2 and then It's time to turn in the modem. They did their damndest to keep me on.

Well they did their damnest and did keep me on. They offered me a package that's cheaper than dsl so I'm staying. I went from 10 megabit to 3 megabit internet access, removed long distance from the phone, and removed the cable tv. Now my bill will be $73 including the taxes.

Funny thing is my cable tv's still hooked up (I paid for 20 channels and they gave me 80) and still got 80 channels.

    So I'mm baaack! ude:
